We believe in teaching "things which are sound doctrine"
Doctrine (also known as theology) is the study of God and His Word, and the relationship between God and the universe. We believe that by studying and meditating on the Word of God, the LORD will give us wisdom by the Holy Spirit to teach us how to interpret the Scriptures and apply them to our daily lives.
The Holy Bible
We believe that throughout the ages, God in His providential care has kept His Word right, down to the present day. We prefer the New King James Version Bible NKJV over all others, although scriptural accuracy is best preserved in the original Greek and Hebrew texts. We believe that Christians should “Study to shew themselves approved unto God (not unto men), workmen that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (II Timothy 2:15).
GOD(YHVH)
We believe that God is absolutely sovereign in all things (Psalm 103:19; Romans 11:36), and through His Word created the heavens and the earth (including all life) in six days (Genesis 1:1-31; John 1:3; II Corinthians 13:14). We believe that God is the One who redeems, saves, and rescues mankind from sin and its painful consequences (Isaiah 42:11). We believe that God (Elohim) is not trinity but rather One (Deuteronomy 6:4) united in the Godhead of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22; II Corinthians 13:14).
What we believe about God the Son (Jesus/Yeshua)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ (the Son of God) is absolute God Head and has always existed. He too is without beginning or end (Revelation 1:8). He is the second person of the Godhead yet not equal with the Father, for Jesus said in John 14:28: “I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.” In order to complete the Will of His Father, He was God in divinity and Man in Humanity.(Heb 1) He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31,35).
Jesus was completely holy by virtue of His miraculous birth, and He lived a perfect life, absolutely without sin (II Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 7:26; I Peter 2:22). While on earth, Jesus performed many miracles through the anointing of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:22, Acts 10:38). In order to restore fallen mankind, Jesus voluntarily died on the cross as a substitute for the sins of every person (Isaiah 53:4-6; John 10:17-18; I Corinthians 15:3; II Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 9:14,28; I Peter 3:18)
We believe that God the Father raised Jesus from the dead (Acts 2:24; Acts 3:15; Acts 3:26; Acts 4:10; Acts 10:40; Romans 10:9; I Corinthians 6:14; Galatians 1:1; Colossians 2:12; I Peter 1:21) on the third day into a glorified body (Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39; I Corinthians 6:14, I Corinthians 15:4). After His resurrection, Jesus ascended into Heaven where He currently is seated at the right hand of God the Father (Acts 1:9,Acts 11, Acts 2:33; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3).
We believe that Jesus (our Intercessor and Advocate) continually makes intercession for us; for He is the only true Mediator between God the Father and man (I Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 4:14; Hebrews 7:25; I John 2:1).
God the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKadosh)
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third expression of the Godhead. The Holy Spirit is coexistent with the Father and the Son (Matthew 28:19; Acts 5:3-4; I Corinthians 3:16). The Holy Spirit was sent by the Father in the Son’s name to indwell, instruct, guide, comfort, and empower the believer for righteous living and service (John 14:26; John 15:26).
We believe the Holy Spirit exalts no one but Jesus (Yahuah-Yeshua) (John 16:13), always directs attention to Jesus, never violates God’s Word (I Corinthians 14:3), and does everything unto edification (I Corinthians 14:26 ). We believe that the Holy Spirit’s work withstands all examination (I Corinthians 2:15; Malachi 3:10; Psalm 34:8; I John 4:1), and that the Holy Spirit is the giver of spiritual life.
We believe that all believers are entitled to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and therefore should expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible speaks of “the Holy Ghost and fire.” Fire, an image commonly associated with the Holy Spirit, suggests the purging, cleansing action, and zeal of the Holy Spirit which continues the work of spiritual growth begun at salvation.
We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit was the normal experience of all believers in the early Christian church. With the experience comes the provision of power for victorious Christian living and productive service. It also provides believers with specific spiritual gifts for more effective ministry (I Corinthians 12:1-31). We believe that these spiritual gifts are to be used for the edification and perfecting of the believers of the Church (Romans 12:6-8; 1 Corinthians 12:11; Ephesians 4:11-12; Hebrews 2:3-4).
We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit is separate from salvation, and follows the new birth experience (Acts 8:12-17; 10:44-46; 15:7-9). With this baptism come such experiences as an overflowing fullness of the Spirit (John 7:37-39; Acts 4:8), a deepened reverence for God (Acts 2:43; Hebrews 12:28), an intensified commitment to God and dedication to His work (Acts 2:42), and a more active love for Christ, for His Word, and for those who have not yet become believers (Mark 16:20).
We believe that the baptism of Christians in the Holy Spirit is often accompanied by the physical sign of speaking in other tongues (unlearned languages) as the Spirit of God gives them audible expression (Acts 2:4). This form of speaking in tongues is basically the same as the gift of tongues (I Corinthians 12:4-10,28). The difference is the purpose and use. The manifestation of tongues can be observed in the life of every Spirit-filled believer’s personal prayer life. However, the gift of tongues (sometimes called “messages in tongues”) operates publicly, usually in congregational worship settings. This gift is followed by the gift of interpretation of tongues. Both are given to individuals within the church. Their purpose is for the spiritual benefit of the individual and the congregation.
We believe that Jesus (our Intercessor and Advocate) continually makes intercession for us; for He is the only true Mediator between God the Father and man (I Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 4:14; Hebrews 7:25; I John 2:1).

Church
We believe that the Church began on the day of Pentecost, that every believer is indwelt/baptized by the Holy Spirit into the one Body of Christ, and that the Body of Christ is the universal Church (Acts 1:4-5; 2:1-4; 1 Corinthians 12:13).
The universal Church consists of those people who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as the only remedy for their sins (I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 1:22-23, 5:13). It includes all Christians and has no boundaries as to age, race, gender, or denomination.
We believe that the Scriptures teach that there are to be local churches as well. These churches are to be visible representations of the Body of Christ in the local community, observing the ordinances of Christ and teaching the Word of God (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 20:28).
We believe that Christ is the Head of the Church, that He has made every provision for the fulfilment of “the Church’s” Great Commission (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:15), and that each Christian is an integral part of that Church.
We believe that God’s purpose concerning mankind is to seek and to save people who are lost in sin (Luke 19:10), to be worshipped by all mankind (Revelation 19:10, 22:9), and to build a unified body of believers mature in faith and knowledge like His Son — Jesus (Ephesians 4:12).
We believe that Jesus (our Intercessor and Advocate) continually makes intercession for us; for He is the only true Mediator between God the Father and man (I Timothy 2:5; Hebrews 4:14; Hebrews 7:25; I John 2:1).
Therefore the three main reasons for being a part of the Church is as below
- To be an agency of God for evangelizing the world (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 4:11-16).
- To be a corporate or unified body in which man may worship God (I Corinthians 12:13).
- To be a channel of God’s purpose to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son (Ephesians 4:11-16).
In fulfilling this three-fold mission of the Church, Citizens of the Kingdom are taught and encouraged to be baptized in the Holy Spirit according to the New Testament pattern. Through this experience, believers evangelize in the power of the Spirit with accompanying supernatural signs (Mark 16:15-20; Acts 4:29-31; Hebrews 2:3-4); worship God in an added dimension (I Corinthians 2:10-16); and respond to the full working of the Holy Spirit in expressing the fruit, gifts, and ministries as in New Testament times in order to build up the church, the body of Christ ( I Corinthians 12:28, 14:12; Galatians 5:22-26).
Ministry
We believe that involvement in ministry in response to a divine call is scripturally ordained in the Bible. It is a provision for our Lord for the threefold purpose of leading the Church in
- Evangelization of the world (Mark 16:15-20)
- Worship of God (John 4:23-24)
- Building a body of believers conforming to the life of Christ (Ephesians 4:11,16).
Divine Healing
We believe that divine healing from God is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided in the Atonement (Christ’s suffering and death for our reconciliation with God). We believe that healing is a privilege of all believers (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14-16)
Rapture
We believe that all Christians who have died will one day rise from their graves and will meet the Lord in the air. “True” Christians who are alive will be raptured or caught up with them, to be with the Lord. Then Christians of all ages will live with God forever. The scriptural truth of the Lord’s soon return is “the blessed hope” (Romans 8:23; I Corinthians 15:51-52; I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Titus 2:13).
